CDM Co-ordinator

The construction industry is one which is constantly developing. Recognising the impact which was to result from the introduction of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, David Adamson established its Planning Supervision division early in 1995.

With the enactment of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, David Adamson has embraced this new legislation with enthusiasm, briefing clients on their new role and responsibilities, supporting them in their duties and developing new protocols to integrate health and safety into the management of projects.

As a result David Adamson can now claim to be at the leading edge in this area and has developed significant experience across a variety of project types, including liaising with clients, designers and contractors on Health and Safety matters, developing Health and Safety plans, and preparing Health & Safety files.

The service David Adamson delivers meets all the statutory obligations of the CDM Co-ordinator and provides reassurance to David Adamson’s clients that the health and safety documents prepared and managed on their behalf are exemplary.

David Adamson is a corporate member of The Association for Project Safety and is one of the first practices to populate the Association for Project Safety Practice Register, proving working practices, policies and procedures are compliant with Best Practice. All executive staff within the division are members in their own right and appear on the register of CDM Co-ordinators.

David Adamson has undertaken a full range of new build, refurbishment and demolition projects for clients' groups, including local authorities, government agencies, housing associations and commercial organisations.
